Bonnie Anders Taylor, lovingly known as Bon Bon, age 89 of Hendersonville, passed away on December 26, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Dick and Nora Anders.

Bonnie was a kind and dedicated wife and mother. As a housewife and stay-at-home mother, she loved to cook and care for her family. She and her late husband Gene were long-time residents of Hendersonville and attended Balfour United Methodist Church.

Bonnie is survived by her children: Brenda Taylor Petty of Black Mountain, Donna Taylor Doss (Ray) of Burlington, James “Jimmy” David Taylor of Hendersonville, and Barry Eugene Taylor (Anita) of Hendersonville; her grandchildren: Eric Doss (Meagan), Christina Doss (Jordan), Samantha Taylor, and Heather Taylor; her great-grandchildren, Cameron Doss and Kaylee Doss; and her sister-in-law, Shirley Anders.

She is predeceased by her husband, David Eugene “Gene” Taylor; also brothers RC Anders and JC Anders.

A funeral service will be held at Balfour United Methodist Church on Friday, December 31st at 2:00pm. A burial will occur at a later date at Shepherd Memorial Park.

For your safety, there are Covid-19 precautions in place. Face coverings must be worn, temperature will be taken before entering, and there is limited seating in the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Four Seasons Hospice/Elizabeth House, 571 S. Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
