Oh! So sorry to hear of Betty's passing! I'll never forget her friendliness and hospitality to me when I was newly arrived in the neighborhood back in the late 70's. She'd invite me in to share a meal with the family (I remember fried eggplant and other goodies from the garden). She gave me fresh milk for my daughter BJ when she was a baby. How this California girl far from home was comforted with such kindness! Betty was a wonderful mother and a hard working, enterprising gal - I remember when she had "Betty's Bees". And she was always faithful at Barker Heights Baptist Church. Everything was OK when I would come back to visit and Betty was still there. I will never forget her and I love all in her family. May the Lord be especially near and dear to all your hearts at this time as you remember the precious memories of dear Betty!
