Beth Hart

April 14, 1924 - December 8, 2020

Beth Beryl Hart, 96, of Hendersonville, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Carolina Village.  She was born in Niagara Falls, NY to the late William and Myrtie Masten Stube.

Beth married the love of her life, Thomas Hart, on September 14, 1947. She received a chemistry degree from Wisconsin University and her first job was as a chemist for Dupont at Niagara Falls. Beth then worked in a chemistry lab in West Lafayette, IN while Thomas worked in the Financial Aid Department at Purdue University.  They later moved to Steubenville, OH where he taught at Jefferson Technical College, and they were active in their local church.

Beth enjoyed woodworking, homemaking, walking and enjoying nature.  In 1974 they moved to Carolina Village, and spent their happy retirement finding new campsites, such as Table Rock, in their pop up camper.

A member of Missionary Alliance Church, Beth played the piano and organ and sang in her church as well as at Carolina Village. She enjoyed reading Guideposts magazine and her Bible. A devout Christian, she gave generously to many charities.

Beth was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Hart, who was a Navy veteran; her sister, Joy Johnson; and her brother, William Stube.

Left to cherish her memory are children, Ken Hart (Pamela Weisheit-Hart) of Jasper, IN, and Gary Hart (Cheryl) of Bloomington, IL; and four grandchildren. She will remembered as a prayerful mother, and dearly missed.

Service information will be posted upon availability.
