Antonio R. Ramirez, 33, of Hendersonville went home to be with his dad and grandparents at his home Thursday, March 24, 2016 after a sudden illness. A native of Michigan, he lived in Henderson County for the last twenty-five years. Antonio was a son of the late Antonio Ramirez Martinez and Janet Ramirez of Hendersonville. He worked as a chef with Chili’s on Airport Road. Antonio enjoyed basketball, wrestling, football, and was an avid Michigan fan.
In addition to his mother, survivors include a daughter, Iszabella Rae Kelly of the home; a sister, Rosa Ramirez; two brothers, Danny and Floyd Dewey; nieces and nephews, Adrian, Esmeralda, and Christian Ramirez, Molly, Micahl, Mason, Axel and Kayla Dewey; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service will be at 3:00 pm Wednesday in the Shuler Funeral Home Chapel.

i work with tony for 2 years at hickory tavern he was such a wonderful man in every way we laugh together, we play video games together, we made fun of each other he loved talking about his experience in mexico. tony you will be missed brother we always talk about you even when you were gone from hickory tavern you always made everyone smile and laugh. I remember when we use to talk about the movie blood in blood out we always laugh about that stuff or when we use to talk about scarface lol damn I still can't believe it brother.
