Annie Sue French Foster

July 5, 1928 - August 14, 2020

Annie Sue Foster, 92, of Hendersonville, NC went to be with the Lord peacefully at her home on Friday, August 14th, 2020. She was born to the late Charles Bolton French and Marjie Bell French; Annie Sue is also preceded in death by her husband, John Morrow Foster, Jr; and her brother C.B French, Jr.

Annie Sue was a member of Hendersonville First Baptist. She graduated in 1947 from Hendersonville High School. Annie was a member of Hendersonville Junior Woman’s Club and the Hendersonville Country Club, but most of all she was delighted to substitute on occasion in several bridge clubs. Annie Sue was the dedicated owner of French’s Jewelers. She absolutely adored her family.

Left to cherish Annie Sue’s memory are her daughters Marjie F. Masciarelli (John) and Connie F. Luther (Robert); sons, P. French Trembley and Raymond B. Trembley of Hendersonville; stepdaughters Rebecca F. Kirtley, Carolyn F. Griffith (Fletcher) all of whom are of Hendersonville, and Laura F. Karr of Centennial, Colorado;; grandchildren, Stephanie Morrow (Jonathan), John “Drew” Masciarelli (Erin), Robert A. Luther and Caroline O. Luther all of Hendersonville, and Matthew  and Robert Trembley of Hillsborough, NC; eight step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Tristian and Ava Harrison, Dawson and Wyatt Masciarelli and Carmen, Sadie, Jaxon, Ryder and Liam Trembley of Hillsborough, NC; and nephew, Lewis H. Warren (Delores) of Tennessee.

Due to Covid-19, all services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks to consider memorial contributions to Four Seasons Foundation at 211 N. Main St., Hendersonville NC 28792 and  the Blue Ridge Humane Society at 14 Towne Place Drive, #130 Hendersonville, NC 28792.
