July 25, 1954 - March 6, 2021

Alice Lutricia Oxendine, 66, of Fletcher passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Mission Hospital. A native of Rock Hill, SC, she was the daughter of the late David Hope and Mae Hope Elders. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Anthony Ray Oxendine; a brother, Thomas Ervin Hope; and a nephew, Brett Colvin.

Alice was a joyful person and always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and loved going out to eat with her family.

She is survived by two sons, Delton Oxendine of Mills River and James Oxendine of Fletcher; a daughter, Angie Oxendine of Hendersonville; four grandsons, Tyler, Nicholas and Brandon Wilson and Christian Hensley; three sisters, Kaye Colvin, Vickie Conner and Phyllis Lamb; three brothers, Lamar and Ronald Hope and Willie Elders. Alice is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, March 12 in the chapel of Shuler Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Waldroup officiating. The family will receive friends from 12pm to 1:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Shepherd Memorial Park.
