Alberto Lazaro Diaz, 73, of Hendersonville and originally from Santa Teresa, Guerreo, Mexico, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020 at WellStar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia.

Alberto was born in Santa Teresa, Guerrero, Mexico to Martin Lazaro Soto and Francisca Diaz Pineda.  He was preceded in death by his father, Martin Lazaro Soto; and his grandson, Alexander Fraire.  He previously resided in Chicago, IL where he worked as a steel worker until retirement.  Alberto was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.  He enjoyed going to the casino, and fishing.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Francisca Diaz Pineda; his wife of 47 years, Elvira Lazaro; children, Anadelia Lazaro and husband Wenceslao Fraire, Sandra Lazaro and husband Luis Antonio Obispo, Alberto Lazaro, Jr., Martin Lazaro and Leopoldo Lazaro; grandchildren, Ayded Soriano, Carlos Valadez, Maria Luisa Tamayo, Yasmin Tamayo, Jocelyne Obispo, Edward Lazaro, Johanny Monique Obispo and Luis Alberto Obispo; great-grandchildren, Fernando Sotelo, Marisol Ruelas, Omar Juarez, Maritza Ruelas, Cesar Sotelo, Andrea Carmona, Aylen Sotelo, Andrew Garcia, Liam Resendiz and Adam Carmona; and siblings, Trinidad Lazaro, Ignacio Lazaro, Florencio Lazaro and Maria Natividad Lazaro.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from 5pm to 8pm in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home at 538 Tracy Grove Rd, Hendersonville, NC.  Alberto will be laid to rest at the Municipal Cemetery in Santa Teresa, Guerrero, Mexico.


Alberto Lazaro Díaz, de 73 años, de Hendersonville y originario de Santa Teresa, Guerrero, México, falleció el viernes 25 de septiembre del 2020 en el Hospital WellStar Kennestone en Marietta, Georgia.

Alberto nació en Santa Teresa, Guerrero, México, hijo de Martín Lazaro Soto y Francisca Díaz Pineda.  Pasó a estás con su padre, Martin Lazaro Diaz; y su nieto, Alexander Fraire.

Previamente residió en Chicago, Illinois, donde trabajó como obrero siderúrgico hasta su jubilación.  Alberto fue miembro de la Iglesia de la Inmaculada Concepción.  Le gustaba ir al casino y pescar.

Dejado para apreciar su memoria son su madre, Francisca Diaz Pineda; su esposa por 47 años, Elvira Lazaro; sus hijos, Anadelia Lazaro y esposo Wenceslao Fraire, Sandra Lazaro y esposo Luis Antonio Obispo, Alberto Lazaro, Jr., Martín Lazaro y Leopoldo Lazaro; nietos, Ayded Soriano, Carlos Valadez, María Luisa Tamayo, Yasmin Tamayo, Jocelyne Obispo, Edward Lazaro, Johanny Monique Obispo y Luis Alberto Obispo; bisnietos Fernando Sotelo, Marisol Ruelas, Omar Juárez, Maritza Ruelas, Cesar Sotelo, Andrea Carmona, Aylen Sotelo, Andrew García, Liam Resendiz y Adam Carmona; y sus hermanos, Trinidad Lazaro, Ignacio Lazaro, Florencio Lazaro y María Natividad Lazaro.

El miércoles 30 de septiembre de 2020 se hará un servicio funerario de 5pm a 8pm en la Capilla de Forest Lawn Funeral Home en 538 Tracy Grove Rd, Hendersonville, NC.  Su entierro será en el Cementerio Municipal de Santa Teresa, Guerrero, México.
