Charles A. Maxted, 82, of Hendersonville, NC and formerly of Cheshire, CT, died Monday, March 8, 2010 at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock, NC.
Born in Hamden, CT, he was the son of the late Charles A. Maxted, Sr. and Maybelle Read Maxted and husband of the late Maureen Swift Maxted.
Before retiring, he taught high school English for the Hamden School System.
