Robbie Lynn Gifford

December 14, 1971 - January 31, 2018

Robbie Lynn Gifford, Jr., 46, of Hendersonville was promoted to Heaven on Wednesday, January 31, 2018. A son of Robbie Lynn Gifford, Sr. and Judy Patricia Reynolds Gifford, he was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County.

Robbie was self-employed as a welding fabricator and he took great pride in what he did for a living. He loved caring for his family and was considered by them the best husband, father and grandfather possible. He enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle, with his dog as his sidekick, when he needed to clear his mind. Robbie was a man of few words, but when he spoke there was great meaning behind his words. He could often be heard telling those that he loved, “check your oil.”

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Marti Gifford; children, Ashley Gifford, Michelle Gifford, Brandi Warner, Brandon Gifford, Tyler Gifford, Chelsea Jones and Dakota Gifford; grandchildren, Nathanial Gifford, Garrett Warner, Isaiah Gifford, Zakia Conard, Brayden Conard, Eli Conard and Koda Warner; brother, Tony Gifford and his wife, Sharlene; nephew, Avery Gifford, and numerous other nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 6pm on Monday, February 5, 2018 at Crossroads Baptist Church in Zirconia with Pastor Eddie Conard officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church.
