Frances Jean “Nanny” Morrow, 81, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 5, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Odell Owens, Sr. and Lillie Mae Poteat Owens, along with two brothers and three sisters.

Jean was a lifelong resident of Henderson County and an active member of In Jesus Name Church for many years. She so loved her family, her church, and her friends, all of which brought great joy to her life. She also greatly enjoyed cooking, canning, and feeding her community.

She is survived by her children, Tracey Holbert and husband Harold, Paul Morrow and wife Crystal, and Dale Harris and wife Melinda; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her brother; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, May 12, 2017 in the chapel at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Dale Gilbert officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to In Jesus Name Church, 2934 Sugarloaf Road, Hendersonville, NC 28792.
